Question about Organizer

    I’m using SCM module 3 and I have entered all of my resources for Bible, history and geography separately. I scheduled Bible for Mon and Tues, geography for Wed, and history resources for Thurs and Fri.

    Our first day of school was Monday and it was great, but then my oldest came down w/ chickenpox, my 5 yo w/ a cold and ear infection and possibly the pox as well. So, needless to say, we did nothing on Tues and Wed of this week. Today, everyone is feeling much better and ready for a bit of schoolwork, but I realized that with my plan as is, I will be skipping some of the Bible and the geo and moving on to the history. 

    Would it be better to enter these 3 subjects as one covered ea. day so I don’t get out of sync? How have others of you handled this? I know I can click on the assignments not scheduled for today, but I’m trying to make it as easy on myself as possible going into the future, too.

    Oh, dear! Sorry to hear about the chicken pox at your house. Are you doing all right yourself?

    If I’m understanding your situation correctly, could you just switch the days on the resources? Put Bible on Thurs and Friday, geography on Mon, and history on Tues and Wed? That would keep you in the right order but adjust for the days you took off.

    If that seems like too much hassle, yes, I think I’d just have everything show up every day and close the ones I didn’t want to use. Smile
