question about history module book list

    I am going to be ordering a history module soon and have a question about the book list. I have a 5th grader who is only reading on a 2nd grade level. Would you suggest I get the books that are 1-3 or 4-6?

    I would have him read the grades 1-3 books and if you have time and margin, read the 4-6 aloud to him.

    The ideas within the 4-6 books may pique him a little more than the younger books, but I always feel the 1-3 are never to be missed, too. Best of both.
