Hi, I am planning for next year and we will be doing Module 5.  Our library has all but a few books.  I wanted to see if anybody could give me suggestions for replacements for those that I can’t get.

The Pilgrims of Plimoth by Marcia Sewall.  Is this just a general book about the Pilgrims?

The Landing of the Pilgrims by James Daugherty.  Same as above?

Along Came Galileo by Jeanne Bendick.  Would any book about Galileo suffice?

Strangers in the Land by Louise Vernon.  I think I can probably buy this one at the convention next week.

The Ocean of Truth: The Story of Sir Isaac Newton by Joyce McPherson. Would any book about him work?

Thanks so much for any input!  I’m sure I could just pick something to substitute from the library, but I thought I would check here first 🙂

I usually just substitute a book that looks like it covers the topic well when I can’t afford to purchase it, if it’s not at our library.  Our library offers free inter library loan, so you might want to check into that option, too.  You may end up needing to read them out of order, a bit earlier, or a bit later, but our family tends to do that even if we have the books.  It’s all good!
