    I did an ILL for the D’Aulaire’s Leif the Lucky but they sent the wrong book.  The title of the book is Leif the Lucky:  Discover America by Eric Berry, i’m wondering if this is an ok substitution?  Thanks

    I haven’t found any sample pages online, Des, so I can’t give you an opinion. Give it the one-page test: read a page and see if it draws you in and makes you want to keep reading. Also check whether you can picture the action in your mind as you read. Those two tests should help you determine whether it’s a living book that your children will enjoy.
