Can anyone tell me how the grammar is taught? I really like the way Easy Grammar teaches the preposition approach but I would really like something that incorporates all language arts together. Any ideas?

I use Language Lessons for the very young, young & elementry from Queens right now and am LOVING IT. It is simple, has grammer, visuals, short lessons, narrations, they really touch on it all. My kids don’t fret over it and they can look back if they get stuck. And having all boys there are NO tests even in the books!

I love this and like the approch. Just thought I’d put my 2cents in.

We use LL for Elementary and SEcondary. It is very gentle. It may teach a different part of speech every few days. It will have you add the punctuation in a paragraph, or write a letter & address an envelope, or write a narration based on a beautiful picture, or put verbs in past tense. It’s all very gentle and done independently.

This approach has worked really well for us and it’s pretty portable for all our traveling. It is the only grammar that I found that encourages and includes creative writing and that my children don’t balk at.
