I have been reading post on my facebook page from Queens curriculum and wondered about the comments posted. Is the History accurate? What about the language arts program she has. Is it benificial or would something else be better? I just dont want to spend money thst is tight for us and find out its not good.

First of all, only you can know if something is right for your family. Sometimes one persons’s personal rant can cause you to second guess a whole curriculum.

We have used Queen’s history curriculum for years and I love it. But, I am not a history expert by any means and wouldn’t know if a few dates were wrong.

As far as LA is concerned. Sandi has raised a bunch of professional writers on that LA curriculum. I can’t see how it can be that bad. But, if your goals for your children are “more strenuous” for LA, then it might not be a good fit for you. It would really depend on what YOU think.

You can always do what I do – order the materials from somewhere like Rainbow Resource where you can return them without restocking fee and look them over thoroughly for yourself.
