    OK..pardon my utter ignorance in matters such as this, but I figured somebody would be able to help me out here

    When I turn my daughter’s Kindle on, it says, “Welcome Ola” since I purchased it through my Amazon Account and it’s linked to it automatically.  Is there any way to change the welcome screen greeting to her first name?

    does anyone know?

    Go to your Amazon account and under “my account” find the section that says “manage my Kindle”. You can change the name there, I believe.
