    Just wanted to jump for joy for my daughter.  About a year ago, my 8yo still couldn’t spell the simplest words – cat, dog, this, that, etc. after 3 years sof copywork etc.  I finally decided to use a spelling program geared towards dyslexics (which she has) and 1 year later, she is spelling words like “recommended” without missing a beat!!!  Just thought I’d share her great progress!  I’m about to bust in two because I’m so proud of her!  Laughing

    To clarify – a year ago she was 8 – she’s 9 now.  🙂

    We just bought the E-book and used a notebook instead of the student response book.  We set up the notebook the way they suggested.  For $10 + and empty notebook I had laying around, I figured I couldn’t go wrong.  I’m so glad this is working!!!

    We started using Sequential Spelling with my 8yo this year.  She doesn’t have dyslexia (that I know of!) but her spelling was atrocious… same thing with not being able to spell the simplest words.  We’re only up to lesson 36, but we are seeing SO much improvement already!  Even her grandma commented recently that it’s much better.
