projects with 3 and 5 yr old ds?

On the curriculum guide, it mentions 2 time blocks for projects for Preschool age.  I am curious, what sort of projects might be implemented here?  Is it handicrafts, chores alongside Mom, free play time in or out?  I know it Could be all sorts of things, but I am interested in more of what projects might one do at this age that is worthwhile and not just coloring a page:)  (We do all sorts of things in a loose schedule already, for ex. Bible, read alouds, gardening, habits and helping, art/hands on building; but I am thinking ahead from now until my son’s 1st grade yr at 6 1/2, and wanting to begin implementing more and more CM methods/subjects so when we start “real school” it won’t be overwhelming to have the week be rich and diverse.)
