I am trying to print out some reports for the end of the year records. I printed out the attendance one just fine. When I went to print out the detailed report it started printing everything in about a one inch space along the left side. It looked nothing like what was on my screen where the words went across the page. It also was going to be 115 pages long because of the way it was printing.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I am guessing that it is my printer and not the program?
I should tell you that I am using Mozilla 3.6.13 as my web browser and my printer is a HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus (printer, scanner, copier). I’ll check to see if there is an update for Mozilla.
When I copy and paste it into OpenOffice it is only 55 pages. Of course the fonts are all different and the frames are all showing . . .
When you print, your computer should display a print settings dialog window. Double-check there and make sure the size is set to 100% and there are not any auto-scale, fit to page, shrink to fit, or resize options turned on. If the print size is still not what you prefer, you may have some adjustment options depending on what Web browser software you are using.
In Mozilla Firefox, choose the “View” menu, then the “Zoom” sub-menu, and then select “Zoom Text Only”. Now go back through the same menus and chose “Zoom In” or “Zoom Out” to adjust the text size.
