This was our first week with the SCM Organizer in action. Most accounts are positvie; however, I’m having a few issues that I can’t seem to work out and need some assistance.
To use the CMO we must be able to print the Daily Plan in a way so that my children are able to read it. When we print the Daily Plan, the type size for all of the lines (except the main headings) is so small that the size of the capital letters is no more that a millimeter. We have a MacBook Pro, I have tried using Safari and Firefox, and am printing it using MS Word. The only solution that I have found at this point is to increase the print by 125%, which makes it easily readable, but also pushes the side “notes” off the page and makes the list go onto more than one page due to formatting.
I saw in an earlier forum post another entry where someone had this exact problem, but did not see the follow-up response.
Has anyone had this issue and found a successful resolution to it?
Sarah, I don’t understand the part about printing using MS Word. You should be able to view your Daily Plan in Safari or Firefox, then click the Print link at the top of the page. That should bring up a print dialog window. When you click the Print button it should go straight to your printer. MS Word shouldn’t come into play with any part of that.
You’re right about MS Word. I don’t know why I put that in there. I made one attempt at copying and pasting the daily plan into MS Word, but otherwise all the other attempts at printing have been from the Daily Plan window. Sorry. My mistake. Otherwise, the information as stated above is correct.
Hi, I had that same problem. On my HP, I have to input for scheduling on FireFox and for printing (big print) on AOL. I hope this helps. I know what you mean, when you print it from FireFox the printing is very, very small. And I have to input (worked on/Finished) on FireFox, because if I do it from AOL, the information doesn’t always take.
@PrayersB4Ugo2Bed, I wouldn’t expect it to work in the AOL browser. That browser is built on some fairly outdated technology so I’m actually surprised the CM Organizer works in it at all.
@turtlemama, I’d really like to find an answer to the small print problem but I’ve never been able to duplicate it here. I’d like to collect some information about your computer configuration and have you mail me an actual printout to examine. Please let me know if you’re willing to work with me a bit on a solution and I’ll e-mail you with some instructions. Thanks.
Would really appreciate this. After working out a few kinks the last few weeks during the trial period, this CMO really seems to be the perfect solution to both my daughters’ daily checklist of things-to-do and my long term organization needs. I really want to make this work and appreciate your willingness to work with me on this. I have NEVER seen customer service like this!
I have a hard copy of my daily plan as it looks when I print it out. Shall I send this to the PO Box 892, Grayson GA address? What other information do you need to know about our computer?
