I am hands down a put the book in my hands kinda woman, but with homeschooling, I have found that ebooks have been most helpful.
The first one that swayed me was a free resource I got from Marsha Washburn I think? Called Beethoven I think. LOL Anyway, I decided to use it for our music curriculum one year. It is an ebook and it has link to click that automatically open to videos of composers so we can hear a particular song, symphony, or whatever.
I purchased a dongle that allows my computer to project onto my tv screen and so all the kids could sit comfortable and read along with me through the ebook and when I clicked the link, it would start the videos and we enjoyed this very much for the year.
Since that went so well, I have now found ways to incorporate more ebooks in and save money, but I only do it on resources I know I won’t want keep.
