Is there anyway to download this so that I can type into and eliminate the grade groups that I do not need?

You are going to have to give us a little context. What is “this” you are referring to? The curriculum guide?

Sorry for my lack of info.  The downloadable create your own weekly schedule that is found on the home page on the left hand side.  I have downloaded it, however I am only able to print it and then write into it.  I do not need the 1-3 grade or the 10-12 grade section.  I was wondering if there was a way to download it and eliminate what I do not need, then actually type in my schedule.  I hope I have made my self clear.

    Thank you!

I just copied and pasted onto an Excel spreadsheet, then deleted the items I didn’t need, and added some things I did. Hope it works for you also! 🙂

It’s probably easiest to just create one in a spreadsheet as MrsC suggested so you can customize it as you like.

I just made a version in a Google Docs spreadsheet if that’s useful to anyone. You will have to create a copy (see the File menu) to be able to type in it. And to do that you will have to sign in or create a Google Docs account with the Sign In link in the upper-right corner.

Hey, Doug!  That Google docs spreadsheet looks great….what am I doing wrong, though?  It seems like I should be able to click on edit once I’m in there and type stuff in, but it won’t let me.  I am signed in, I believe, because I have a google account and it says “Sign Out” in the upper right hand corner, rather than “Sign In”.    Thanks!

You have to go to the File menu and select Create a copy to make your own version that you can modify. Otherwise we would all be editing the same document, which probably wouldn’t work out so well. Smile

Well, it wouldn’t work out so well, but it would be kind of funny for a few minutes.  Smile

Thanks for clearing that up for me.  A whole new world of possibilities has just been opened to me – I wonder how many other schedules I’ve seen like this posted in other forums that I could now use?  Hmmm…

And again – thanks for taking the time to create that.  It probably took you five minutes and would have taken me three hours to figure out.

Hmmm, Maybe we’ll have to think about creating a library of forms everyone can use. Thoughts?

My thoughts are YES!!!  I could learn to make forms if someone would teach me, but since that’s not happening right now, I would really appreciate it if you would just make all of them for me.  Haha  — seriously, though — if you’re willing to create some kind of library with ready-made forms, I’m all for it!

I would love a place to share forms.  Would it be possible to do it so that if we have something we’ve created that we’d like to share that we would be able to?  For example, I made a word document that we use when studying the presidents, and would love to post that so others could use it.  I think a feature like that would be cool.

A forms share would be fantastic, not that I have any, I have no idea how to use Excel!! But I would love to see the clever things others come up with.  Thanks Doug.  I must get hubby to teach me Excel, he is very good with it.

If any of you have samples of forms you would like available, please let me know and I’ll have a look. You can always e-mail them to me at doug@ the name of this site .com. (Trying to avoid spammers picking up my address.)

@meagan, You could always create documents with Google docs, set them to be shared, and link to them here on the forum.
