    So someone was just asking if I ever used the Chinese chart to check the sex of my children and I say no I never had but I thought it sure would be fun.  So I went back and found all my LMP’s and my age at conception with all 5 (my 1st born I couldn’t find this information??)  Anyway.  I had to do some major site use to get there calendars stuff down but found a great site that did it for me, even though I had to go back and forth.  Anyway.. they were right on for all 5!  Can you believe that.  That’s crazy.  So now in 7 months I will have to tell you if #7 is correct also.  It says that this baby should be a “girl”.  That would give us 5 boys (in a row) and the last 2 girls.  Time will tell.

    Anyone else ever do something weird or fun just to try and figure it out?  Besides sneaking a peak during an ultrasound?  LOL  Misty  Just having some fun today!

    I will give you the site.  At the bottom you will see a couple (lot) of comments/questions.  There is one on there that tells you where to go to put in your birthday and another a little ways down on how to do this with your LMP to get your conception date.  So read throug it.  I had to go back and forth for a while and then back to this site just to finish my findings.  Have fun.

    we read a book about how to plan for a certain sex because I wanted a boy – I was terrified of having a girl (and still am! Embarassed) It worked both times and the second time we got two instead of just one (that wasn’t part of the plan)! And I did check the chinese chart and both times it did say boy – I am not in the least bit into superstitious things but it sure is funny isn’t it?! I had another friend tell me about some old wives tale trick where you held a needle on a string over your wrist and if it circles around it means a girl and if it goes back and forth it is a boy (and I may certainly have this backwards) and you can do this over and over to see how many children you are supposed to have and it will stop at how many you’ll have total. Oh boy did I feel like I was in middle school again! Now all we need are those folded paper things and the MASH game right? 🙂

    According to this I will be having a girl on my due date.

    It will be fun to see if it is right.  Not that I put any merit into this kind of stuff.    Just for fun.

    Hey MISTY, Congratulations on number 7!!!!

    I am praying that God will bless us with a number 6…I have been fooled the past three months thinking that I was pregnant but then to be disappointed by starting my cycle even 7 days late!! Does that happen to anyone else or just me. I think I am getting older so my cycles are changing!! I am too young for changes!!

    Anyway, Congratulations this is the first I had read about you being pregnant. YEAH Smile

    LOL, that is funny.  The chart says I ought to have one girl (middle ds)  I don’t think I’ll tell him the Chinese think he ought to be a girl.  🙂

    All 5 children were correct!

    Just for fun I also checked the miscarriage that I had. According to the chart it would have been another boy.

    dd9, ds8, ds7, ds3, ds6months

    Hm – if I did it right, it was only right for 1 of my 3 – but not sure I got all the calculations right in my head.

    It predicts that my next one will be a boy – so will have to see…

    You know my girlfriend was tellling me and she’s a bit older than I and a wise woman, something I never knew.. ahh hello.. why don’t we share more.. anyway.. that once you hit about 38 you can start having 2 ovulation times.  Yes, it is true cause she ovulated the second time and got prego.  Anyway I thought I would share.. cause I didn’t know that.  Now I do.

    Suzu.. are you pregnant?  If so congrats!  When are you due?

    Michelle.. don’t tell him.. you could be wrong and besides boys are good luck in China.  When we actually go out to eat and do go to a chinese rest. we always get many of the employees coming over telling us how lucky we must be to have 5 boys in a row.  That 3 is good fortune but 5 is amazingly luckly.  My boys always start to shine!
