Well, we just found out we’re pregnant with baby number 4 (YAY!) and we’re trying to figure out a fun way to tell our other children (our children are 8, 4, and 17months). Have any of you ever done something fun to announce that a new sibling’s on the way?
Hi, Cannot help with what you asked as I only was able to have the twin girls – but I wanted to congratulate you and wish you a peaceful and healthy pregnancy. I am sure lots of mums on here will have great ideas. Blessings to you and your whole family, Linda
You could bake a cake with the news written on it. Or give them each a very small gift box each with some puzzle pieces in it (you will have to make this). Then ask them to put the puzzle together which will have the message on it. I think it’s great that you want to tell them in a special way! congratulations!
Sara: Maybe subconsciously that’s part of the reason I chose to ask this question here- I get to talk about it without anyone “local” finding out LOL. When we told our oldest daughter about our second child, we recorded it on video, and that was neat (she was 3), and when we told our oldest 2 about our 3rd, we just showed them an ultrasound picture (I had one at 7 weeks, which was REALLY neat, as you could see our son’s little “paddle” hands and everything clearly…) so with this one, I’ve run out of ideas, and since both of our big girls are old enought to “get it”, I’d like for it to be memorable.
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations, we’re thrilled.
