By this course listing what do you think would satisfy the pre-reqs. The group of DMA010-040 in conjunction with MAT121 or Mat 171 alone? Or is it saying one of those 3… DMA grouping, MAT121 or MAT171?

** the pre-req listing is at the end of the course listing**

    Thanks Debbie

CIS 115 Intro to Programming & Logic

    Lecture: 2 Lab: 3 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3
This course introduces computer programming and problem solving in a structured program logic environment. Topics include language syntax, data types, program organization, problem solving methods, algorithm design, and logic control structures. Upon completion, students should be able to use top-down algorithm design and implement algorithmic solutions in a programming language. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA as a general education course in Mathematics (Quantitative). Pre-requisite(s): [(DMA 010, DMA 020, DMA 030, DMA 040), MAT 121 or MAT 171].

Without knowing the course titles for MAT 121 & 171, I would assume that DMA is their developmental math program, and that a student would have had to complete the 4 DMA classes or MAT 121 or MAT 171 to be prepared for this class.

If you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to call and ask. I worked as a receptionist in the registrar’s office when I was in college and we always had lots of calls asking us to to clarify these types of things around registration time.
