Hello Everyone,
We were just made aware of a forest fire VERY close to my parents neighborhood. They live in a treed area on the side of a mountain in B.C. Everyone has been evacuated. My parents are not even there right now. They are missionaries and are currently in Guatemala. So though that means that they are safe and sound, it also means that they were not able to take any of their non-replacable things or important documents with them. Please pray that they are able to contain the fire before houses and property are destroyed.

Thank you. The fire started out as just 5 hectares and grew to 10 in just an hour. It is now about 175 hectares and is not yet contained. They have been able to keep the houses from being burned so far but it is getting a lot harder. We know A LOT of people living in this area that is being threathened by this fire. They are all staying in churches or with friends and family if there is room. I know they will appreciate having people praying.
The fire is now at least partially contained. It had grown to 400 hectares and they now have it back down to 250. They have done an excellent job of keeping all the houses safe so far. Also, there is rain in the forcast. Hopefully it will be a nice big rainshower and get everything under control.
Thank you to all who have been praying! Prayer for continued safety of life and property as well as lots of rain would be appreciated.
