    We are still in the ER. They took X-Ray to check for breaks, will do ultrasound next to check for blood clots. Then we will go on from there. Mason is cheerful but tired of doctors. Watching Curious George on the Kindle Fire and eating part of a bagel right now.

    Turns out Mason has a broken tibia just below his knee.  We are home.  He is in a splint until tomorrow so the swelling can go down some and then we go back in to the orthopedic surgeon’s office to get a cast from thigh to toes.  It will be on at least 4 weeks.

    Oh goodness. So sorry for the little guy. Seems that bent cast was trouble in another way, too. Praying for speedy healing.
