Please pray… we have just had the air raid sirens go off in Jerusalem for the first time… rocket landed just north of the city but no one was hurt. Praise the Lord! We covet your prayers…
I pray daily and now hourly for Israel and her people…..thinking of your there and prayers from our family will continue for you all. Michelle, let us know from time to time how you are…please. My heart breaks for your current situation….hugs and blessings, Linda
We always pray for Israel and now have stepped it up to more often. We have Congregation members from there and others who have recently made Aliyah who are going through this, too. Our Messianic Jewish Congregation prays corporately every time we come together. You are receiving so much prayer, I promise.
We always keep up with Israeli news from there, too. I just received my Jerusalem Post paper yesterday and it was about those in the south and their daily lives of being rocketed. North of Jerusalem is pretty far, I must say. Do they know where it came from? The “Palestinian” Authority controlled areas or from Hamas in GAza? I heard yesterday that in those PA territories that there is talk of specifically targeting women and children.
Please keep as safe as possible.
May the “pillar of cloud” protect you as He goes ahead of you to fight this war. I’m afraid it may be one of many. Hamas has the support of Egypt, now. Plus, there’s the stray bombs coming into the Golan Heights.
Please keep us up to date and feel free to ask for specific needs, too.
Thank you for your prayers. Thankfully it has remained quiet in Jerusalem for the last couple of hours. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the south of the country. Hamas has promised more “surprises” so we are bracing ourselves for an unsettled night. We have the kids “camping” on mattresses in the living room tonight so we are all close together and near the “safe” room should the sirens go off during the night.
Rachel – The rockets that landed near Jerusalem were from Hamas in Gaza. So far there has been nothing from the West Bank. We live close to the entry checkpoint into Bethlehem on the southern edge of Jerusalem and it has been quiet here.
Please continue to pray for safety and wisdom for Israel’s leaders.
