So sorry for your loss. Yes, I had a miscarriage at the exact same time as that. It was devastating to me. I don’t know that I’m really over it and it was 5 years ago. I have not been able to conceive since then. I may be experiencing another early miscarriage right now. I’m still trying to figure out what my body is doing this week.
This is where the rubber of your theology meets the road. You really have to hammer out if you believe that God is Sovereign, even over the painful things, and that He is a loving Father over His children even when it seems like He sends pain. A very helpful book for that is The Sovereignty of God by A.W. Pink or The Attributes of God by A.W. Pink. Either of these books will help lift your eyes from the pain and marvel at who God is and to trust Him better. Look for His mercy in every moment. He is there. He is here.
Grief comes like waves but the Lord will uphold His children through it. Another AWESOME book is 1,000 Gifts by Ann Voskamp. It is her journey to healing through thanksgiving.
May the Lord be your comfort and treasure,
Betty
