simple homeMemberIt seems like I remember someone posting a good book that has a seasonal collection of poems, but I don’t recall the name of it.
Anyone know or have a suggestion for this kind of book?
Thanks!!
missceegeeParticipantFavorite Poems Old and New has a seasonal section and plenty of other sections, too.
SahmammaMemberlove how that rhymed!
simple homeMemberLOL, that did have a Dr. Seuss feel Christie. Thanks for reminding me of that resource.
I feel silly, I have that book and forgot about the seasonal section. Usually I look up poetry by poet, without ever thinking of other categories. My brain is under too much planning mode right now! :0
missceegeeParticipantFunny, that wasn’t my intent and I didn’t even notice.
DawnDParticipantAmbleside online had a collection of poems organized by month of the year. I think it is year one. Free too!
JanellParticipantNature in Verse contains nature poetry arranged by seasons. I also love the Ambelside collection by months that was mentioned by Dawn.
Here is another one: Poetry of the Seasons
simple homeMemberThanks ladies. These are very helpful too!
binkyParticipant” the changing seasons” a selection of poems and quotations compiled by Anna Nicholas. Nice artwork too.
