PM Problem

    About 75% of the time, if I want to reply to a PM or Unsubscribe to a PM, I am met with a new page that says “Slow Down. You move too fast.” It gives me the option to go back to the SCM Forum. Re-trying either gets me the desired result or the same message again. This only happens on PMs, but has happened to me a lot in the past. I’m finally reporting it today because I’ve gotten so many PMs today. Anyway, just wanted to let you tech guys know.

    I sent this over to Doug, but he’s at the MACHE convention today, so it may be a little bit before he gets a chance to look at it.

    Are they short messages?  I know I get them if I type a couple of quick messages – it is to avoid spam.  (I haven’t had it in PM’s though…)

    Doug saw this one from the convention and let me know that it’s probably the anti-spam measure. If you try to send two messages quickly, the forum will make you wait. This is so that automated spammers can’t just rapidly post on every thread. As suzukimom pointed out, it usually happens when you’re sending short messages.
