Update – The funeral is on Wednesday. It sounds like the mother is doing okay. The 5yo has not talked yet, but is expected to pull through. Please continue to pray.

I read this thread this morning and was just breaking down in sobs at various times throughout the day. I am just speechless and so deeply hurting for this family. Prayers continuing….

I’ve been praying for this family and just so upset to hear about it. This one really struck home with me and made me hug my kids a little tighter.

It should cause us to cherish every moment with our children. Thanks for all the prayers. Although the family has no idea all these prayers are going out for them, I’m sure they would be very grateful. Other than the funeral tomorrow, I have not heard anymore about the condition of the mother or the 5yo. Tomorrow is going to be a very hard day for them. There are some moms from the co-op going to the funeral. Continue to pray for God’s healing and comfort.
