I have posted my plans for Grade One on my wordpress blog and would love for some feedback! We won’t be starting until January, but I thought it would be good to plan early so as to have time to find all the resources. Also ds won be 6 until early March so I want to ease into the year. Ideas on how to best do that would be great! Sorry the Subject/Materials List is not very wide so some of the lines are split – I don’t know how to fix that.

Thanks in advance for your input!

I clicked on your member name to get to your blog.  Looks fun!  What will you use for economics for grade one?

Oh, pooh.  Posted too fast.  If the day seems to long, or if he gets too tired before reading practice, just pop it into an earlier slot to get in enough practice.

I’m sure it’ll take a little tweaking of the schedule as we go. Ds enjoys finding a quiet space and reading to himself, so it may be that he makes that time on his own after we’ve finished the other subjects. Nature walks and science experiments will most likely come first or last on the days we have those.
