1 cubby of random, ball gloves, musical toys, dinosaurs
The other 4 cubbies are books (only pre k picture/ short story books) no board books or chapter or school books
1 sterilite of food toys next to the litte kitchen, we also have a tool bench with all the tools, but only one is out at a time
1 big sterilite of dress up
I made a “train table” it is a 2’x4′ piece of plywood that I glues felt to the top of and screwed 1″x2″ along the top to make edges. It has wheels and goes under the bed. The Legos stay on here. It is amazing! We can wheel it through doors to other rooms and if we are mid project it can be rolled under the bed for later.
They play together 80% of the time with Legos. Dd doesn’t enjoy playing with toys by herself, so she rarely asks for toys. Ds is all boy, so he has to wait for a friend to come over or for Daddy to play with the Nerf guns, swords, and shields because she refuses to play that with him. Her dress-up stuff isn’t clothing; it’s gloves, tiaras, bracelets, etc. If she wants to dress up, she will put on one of the dresses in her closet and accessorize. Weather-permitting, they will ride bikes or scooters, of which they each have one.
My list was for DC 6 and 3. I forgot to say they each have an 18″ doll from Target with three extra outfits each. I sort of hope to make more clothes for them as a handicraft in the future. We also have a wagon but it isn’t getting used except for gardening. 🙂 They have their own child sized table outside for picnics, lemonade stands, etc. 🙂
