    I believe I told you all that my dad was having surgery to remove part of his colon due to a pre-cancerous growth.  Just wanted to let you know that Dad’s colon surgery went as expected today.  It took about 3 hours plus recovery room time, but he is resting as comfortably as possible. He was in a lot of pain afterward, but that’s being managed pretty well. Thank you for your continued prayers.

    Prayers from here for your dad – I am glad the surgery went well and that he is in recovery – it is not a pleasant op, but they are so good these days with pain management….please let us know how he gets on, and if there are any specific prayers you need….hope the children are holding up and helping you at this hard time.
