Here goes! If you’d like for your child(ren) to have a penpal, just respond here letting me know each child’s age, gender, a few interests, and if they’d be willing to have a 2nd penpal if there’s a couple extra kids to fill in. Please let me know this by this Saturday, March 12th. Shortly thereafter, I’ll will post a list here with who your penpal(s) are. Thanks, I hope this ends up being a blessing for your children! Gina
I do have a 12yo boy who would probably enjoy a penpal if he understood the what a penpal was (I guess I should explain it to him). Does anyone have a dc that is about 12 that would like to try or are we shooting for the younger group??
I just asked my son and he said it sounded good and that if someone about his age wanted a penpal he would ‘check it out.’
His interests are: sports (karate, basketball, free running), reading, camping, pottery, some computer use/video games. He’s very independent and diligent with his school work/chores. He enjoys going to church and it an active participant…
My son will soon be 7. He loves to draw. Draw, draw, draw. Draws dinosaurs. Dinosaurs, dinosaurs, dinosaurs. He also loves other animals, especially whales and sharks and tigers and the list goes on. He loves to go on nature walks and play outside. He is also very creative. He makes animals and things out of boxes and empty bottles, etc. Stuff I count as trash is his artistic treasure. I’m sure he would enjoy a pen pal. Thank you.
My daughter is 8. She loves ballet, reading, sewing, horses, pretending, playing outside, making things for people and she loves Jesus with all her heart. She would love a pen pal! THanks for organizing this!
My daughters are 11, 10, and 8. They would each like a penpal.
My 11 yo loves to dance ballet, knit, read and play with our kittens. Is growing a herb garden, and making teas with her herbs. She is learning to play piano and guitar.
My 10yo participates in musical theater and love to sing. She enjoys playing outside and that is essential to her ability to complete a morning’s work. She has a chicken named Ninja and enjoys her Karate class. She also enjoys reading and drawing.
My 8yo is little Miss Social and can’t stop talking 🙂 She enjoys gymnastics and entomoloy, loves her dogs and likes to make gifts for the people she loves. She enjoys reading and any form of art that she has tried.
My daughter is 10 and I dont think she would mind 2 penpals. She plays the violin and piano. She loves animals and has a pet rabbit. Thanks Gina!! Wendy
My oldest is Scott (12) he likes skateboarding, icecream (lol), swimming and playing outside. My next son is Zachary (9.5) he likes legos, skateboarding, swimming. My 3rd child is a girl (8) she likes playing the keyboard, playing dolls, dressing up, pretending, tea parties, you know most anything girly 🙂
