Parental Rights not our right???

    This is a VERY interesting video on what is going on here in the US with parental rights. Whether or not you agree with the topics/cases they talk about the fact that there are cases like these is scary!!

    HSLDA just had something they sent out about a family with a child with cancer.  In a nutshell, he is now cancer-free a PET scan showed, but his drs want him to take all these meds anyway.  His parents refused.  The drs tried to go through child protection for medical neglect, but no one would prosecute the parents.  They finally hired their own lawyer to prosecute them.  Frown  Turns out, these meds are not approved for pediatric use, nor are they approved for the type of cancer he had.  ???  What in the world???  I sure hope the jurors on the case are smart enough to realize these drs are idiots and should probably have their licenses revoked.  Undecided

    I just wrote a blog post about the movie OVERRULLED at http://learningwithcharlotte.wordpress.com/2011/11/29/protect-parental-rights/. We need to educate ALL Americans about the issue of parental rights. It isn’t just a homeschooling issue!
