I have a large book of stories. It is just like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Giant-Paddington-Storybook-Michael-Bond/dp/0831739681/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1343417561&sr=8-1&keywords=giant+paddington+storybook
I has five complete stories in it and lists only Michael Bond as the author (some new ones list multiple authors). It has classic stories in it but also has illustrations. They are like paintings or maybe charcoal drawings? Very beautiful illustrations nonetheless.
If you want more of storybook, I do think this one is classic. It has an original copyright of 1978.
And then I was blessed to find a free library-bound volume of “A Bear Called Paddington” on the pick-up day at our local curriculum sale. It is the original 1958 story but was printed in 1986. Oddly enough, it is in BRAND NEW condition. And I found it for free, which just made me smile!
I can’t wait to read it with our littles once we finish The House at Pooh Corner. We are reading these at bedtime and sometimes in the afternoon. Just finished a chapter in the House at Pooh Corner.
