Thanks for sharing questa7! Glad to hear the GAPS diet is working great for your little guy.
Thanks for sharing your books since I always am looking for good options for the library. I had a busy weekend and did not get to updating my blog, but I will soon. I woke up this am with a stomach bug so it has been a lazy day
Oh no….I’m sorry about the bug. Hopefully it will pass quickly.
I’m always looking for book recs too, and go through every early childhood/kindergarten list that I find, looking for ones that will work for us. 🙂 Look forward to seeing you post when you get to it!
I haven’t blogged this week, but we had a good week. We started All of a Kind Family and my 5yo is finally interested in a read aloud! We switched to a 5 day/week Apologia schedule and it’s going very well…they stay really focused for the shorter lessons. DD5 finished her first ETC book and is really enjoying her phonics lessons. My oldest two took their first MUS unit tests and did really well…as in 100%! For history, we are beginning our George Washington/Am. Rev. study with Guns for General Washington.
We are still struggling to get it all in each day, but we do our best. I’m also struggling with housework and laundry…and lack of energy. I purchased lots of whole foods this week, and I’m hoping that will help. We’ve been breaking our day up: 3Rs, history/science, and arts…with chore times and breaks in between. I’ve planned so many projects to get to this year, and we’ve completed very few of them. We finally managed to finish our first handicraft today…Apple coasters! DH is on vacation this week, and even made one himself. Here’s a link to the pattern if anyone is interested…my DC love sewing with felt! http://www.purlbee.com/apple-coasters/
