My husband is headed home from attempting to get his girls from their mom. We’ve been in a custody battle. We are being unfairly accused of things & have now been refused to see or talk to the girls. We need major intervention & guidance from God. We are spent emotionally from the junk with his ex. Please pray for us & the girls.
She filed a DFCS case & they have supposedly proven we did something but 1) we haven’t & 2) we don’t know what wesupposedly did. Thanks so much for the prayers!
Thanks y’all. We still don’t know anything but at least it’s Monday so we have been able to reach our atty. Still anxiety provoking especially for my husband. Plus we are pregnant & this is affecting our ability to focus on & enjoy the pregnancy 🙁 We haven’t told the girls yet about the baby bc we wanted to be sure everything is ok…so who knows if/when we’ll be able to tell his girls. Just so upsetting, maddening that someone with a lengthy criminal history, constantly accusing the various men in her life of things in an attempt to get them arrested and not doing any of the right things by the girls is able to keep us from them, & we aren’t even able to address anything bc DFCS automatically goes with my husband is the bad guy. I know I should pray for her but that’s hard!
elsnow6 – are you on facebook at all? I am part of a facebook group of both Divorced Mom’s and Step Mom’s, and I have found a lot of advice and strength (and a lot of tough love…This group is not for the faint of heart) and would love to share it with you if you are interested. PM me for more information, or if you ever need to talk – I can give you my email. I am a Step Mom, as well.
Meagan- I’m on FB though don’t do much on there than read others posts lol. I’ll pm you in a bit…gotta get lunch on table & my oldest doing her school 🙂
Update: met with the caseworker today. She said she felt better after talking to us about the allegations & getting our side of the story. She’s going to call some people that have seen the behavior issue we have with my one step-daughter & can attest to how I interact with the girls then hopefully allow us to have them next weekend for our regular visitation.
Thanks for the prayers & appreciate continued ones!
