OT – Organizing iTunes Library – Ideas?

    I have LOTS of stuff in iTunes – music of all varieties, podcasts, audiobooks, etc. I’ve tried using playlists to organize for me, but that doesn’t work as well as I’d like. I’d like to have categories – history, folk music, fairy tales, Kiddie records, audiobooks, etc. – and easily find what I’m looking for.

    Any ideas welcome.

    You could use the genre field for some of those things. For easier access, try turning on the Column Browser from the View menu.

    There is also the option to set up smart playlists that automatically adapt to show the tracks that meet whatever criteria you set up.
