My kids like to listen to music and it’s great. But we have bought them basic MP3 players and they are always breaking or not working and hence we’ve bought each of the 5 older ones probably 3 over the last 5 years. They do not have phones so we can’t go that route.
Anyone have one they like and has lasted? I’m also wondering about an iPod? Can this be used for just music and without the internet once it’s all installed?
My kids have iPod nanos. There is no internet except on iPod touch. The nano is terrific and has lasted several years. My kids upgraded to nano with touchscreen instead of click wheel, but even the old click wheel ones work beautifully. iPods also handle audiobooks easily.
I have seen things similar to this player on Amazon…… My hesitation in getting it is that is seems like you wouldn’t be able to pick a song or story from the middle of the bunch, you know? You’d have to play from start to finish from your usb or SD card.
Thank you ladies, I will look into the options you mentioned. I was leaning toward an iPod – may need to do some investing they do love there music and by now I could have paid for at least 1 if not 2 with all the other ones that have broke. 🙁
