    Just wondering if any of you wonderful SCM moms will be at the Homestead Heritage Fair in Elm Mott over Thanksgiving weekend? I would love to meet some of you face to face! Here is the link if you are interested in finding out more:

    So excited to see a barn raising, plough horses, wood working, pottery, candle and soap making, and take seminars on sustainable living. Oh – and bluegrass music! It’s going to be fun – hope to see some of you Texans there!

    This sounds like a blast but Waco is a stretch from here!  We may possibly be in Waco for an archery tournament in February…

    I know – we happen to be visiting Georgetown and Waco over Thanksgiving so it is working out this year. We have always wanted to go so I am excited about it! I know they do tours and demonstrations all year round but I think the fair is just over Thanksgiving.

    Awww! We live in California now, but my parents and siblings still live in Waco and the Homestead Fair was a Thanksgiving tradition!! We loved their delicious food, the amazing handiwork and crafts, the animals, everything! I hope your family has a great time!
