OT: Flour to Roaster Oven

    Silly post but here it goes:

    Flours: Can you switch whole wheat flour, spelt and rye the same?  If a recipe calls for one can you just switch to the other?

    Roaster oven: Could this be used on hot days outside like a normal over?  Or while camping to cook a casserole?

    Misty,

    When using spelt to replace whole wheat you need to use quite a bit more.  Off-hand I don’t know what the conversion is.  Kamut you can replace equally.  Rye, I don’t know about.  I usually use rye as a portion of the flour.
