    Thanks for the recipe!

Sorry I was confused on budgetting for it.  House not business Embarassed

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and suggestions.  I think the big picture would be to find another $5 a week to make that $15 work.  That’s $3 a day and he does’t stop daily.  Also, we (dh and I) feel like if I gave it in cash it would be easier to ‘see’. The Thermos would be good also and I could do change it up more atleast something different every week for 4 weeks.

Glad to know I am not the only one with lunch/breakfast struggles with my dh.  He never complains only will say could I get something different this week for lunch.  What a great man!

my3boys – your story about your dh’s lunches is funny.  One of the men my dh sees at job sites actually has a small microwave in his van and will bring it in to warm up lunch.  Dragging it in and out.  Everyone laughs at him, yet also think it’s great when he’s around!

My dad had a small electric frying pan in his desk that he would make lunches in.  He did all sorts of things – heat up leftovers, make pancakes or grilled cheese sandwiches, there were lots of options.   It did occasionally drive his co-workers crazy with good smells….

I did the same thing when I was at university.   I had a locker, and I was fortunate to get one with a wall plug-in right nearby.  So I’d sit by my locker and cook up something for lunch.  I’m not sure the ‘university’ would have liked it, but no one ever came and stopped me.
