    Do any of you subscribe to these magazines?

    I’m thinking of getting the Clubhouse JR. for my nearly 7yo daughter (for Cmas) and Clubhouse for my 8yo daughter.

    Do any of your daughters like them?

    I actually just unsubscribed from Clubhouse Jr. 90% of the magazine is always fine, but I always find 1 or 2 stories that are about sibling fights, fights with parents, or some other drama or conflict contrived to prove a point.

    I noticed some new bad habits or new mean phrases sneaking in to my DS5’s vocabulary a few days after our Clubhouse Jr. arrived. That was our experience…maybe others had a more positive experience with that publication.

    Wow, we’ve only had good experiences with both magazines.  I just renewed Clubhouse for my boys and they are always so excited when it comes.  Maybe you could call Focus on the Family and ask for a sample of them to be mailed to you to make sure you’re okay with them.

    We have been getting Jr for my 7 year old for probably 3 years now. He really enjoys it!

    MelissaB, asking for a sample is a good idea – I didn’t think of that!
