If you’re interested in the inductive method, here’s a free study I started with that has been easy to follow and greatly encouraging. It only focuses on a chapter, so it’s a good way to get your feet wet. You have to scroll through old blog posts to find all the days, but it’s worth it. 🙂

Sonya -As usual you present your ideas with grace and truth!  I love, love what you said.  The Bible is a simple and yet at the same time a multi-layered book so it would make sense that more than one method of study is needful.

The Bible and God are all about realtionships – it was this way from the very start.  The Bible is the way to get to know the One who made you so I don’t think that we should look at reading God’s Word as just a check off item but rather a way to get to know our Creator, to spend time with Him.  What a priviledge it is that we GET to read God’s Word and talk with Him.

Blessings on you as you seek God’s wisdom in studying His Word!
