It could be coincidence, because besides my stopping drinking milk I was making other health changes. But I dealt w/acne all through adulthood until my early 40’s and I do wonder if the milk was a contributor (I used to buy 1-2 coffee shop drinks per week). Hope you find a solution soon!
I love coconut oil also. Use it also to remove makeup and put it on face before bed and mornings on days I don’t need makeup till later in the day or not at all. I think it has done wonders for my skin. Use it all over after the shower too. Great stuff. Hopefully it will help him this time around.
momto2blessings- We discussed milk. He only has it with cereal about once a week, but he has ice cream or a milk shake about twice a week. His daddy told him that milk was a culprit in his acne struggle so he is switching to almond milk for cereal and letting me make him my THM protein/almond milk smoothies as a replacement for the occasional milkshake. Thanks for the advice.
My husband used it a teen. He now has crohns and is convinced accutane caused it. Medically we can’t pinpoint the cause whether accutane or not. My son has acne and the dermatologist prescribed an antibiotic and two types of topical cream. It’s starting to help.
