Organizer Question…please help

Is there anyway of saving a note on a date that a resource was worked on but not completed but then making a new note on that same resource the next day…for instance

I have a resource I worked on on Oct. 21 I also wrote a note for that resource and  clicked ” Worked On” then on Oct 26 I went back to that resource and wanted to write another note and click “Worked On”  but it doesn’t let me write a new note because it still shows my note from the 21st. I know that if I clicked Finished it would bring up an empty box for a note but I am not finished with this assignment..I will be finished with it tomorrow…Is there away to work around this and be able to write a note for each day that an assignment is worked on?

Thanks for any assistance…this is actually for a friend of mine who is trying to catch up on her records and is new to the organizer.
