Ok so I asked about how to shrink my print so it would all fit on one page and I still can’t get it.
But today’s question is this: When I open a student and then hit print – if it’s more than 1 page it will cut off at any point and the resource will be 1/2 on one side and 1/2 on the other. This is frustrating. Is there a way to change that? So I’ll explain – let’s say science is the last lesson on the paper for side one, but one side will say: Science (next line) Holt Env. Science (chap 1-4) and then on the other side of the page it will have the worked on and finished boxes with the noted information next to those boxes.
Anyone have some suggestions on either my 1st shrinking post or this one? Trying to save paper is all 😉
Here are some basic instructions that should get you in the right direction. They are written for printing pdf files, but should carry over to printing anything.
Scale the print and/or choose 2-up style layout where you print more than one page per page.
Do you print from Acrobat? Mine doesn’t give that option. If i’m in daily schedule and want to print in the top right corner it gives, expand, print, tomorrow, etc. I hit print and then it pops up with a screen that is from my Epson printer I’m assuming..
You should have something similar in the epson printer dialog. You don’t need acrobat. That was simply the easiest instructions I could find. Try this.
Just curious: Do you see the resource split in half on the printout before you shrink it from the original size? If the Organizer is creating print pages with resources split over more than one page, I would love to bring that up with the programmers to see if we can improve it.
Jordan – yes it does show that when I print preview and always has for me. Let me know if a copy of what I get when I print would be of help to you. I could scan one for you and send it your way.
Thanks SCM team for always looking into things even when not asked. You are an amazing bunch! I feel blessed everyday that I found this site years ago.
