1. After I have completed some lessons with my children and I reach a point of review, if I find that we need to go back over, say, a math or begining reading lesson we have already completed, is there any way to go back and assign a lesson again?
2. Any ideas on how to set up something like the typing program in the organizer? What I mean is that I want them to work on the Mavis Beacon typing program 2 times per week. I know I can assign them the days, but how do I keep track of it? It doesn’t really have lessons. Do I just figure out how many weeks there are in my school year and multiply that by the number of days per week I want them to do the program? I know this doesn’t HAVE to be in the organizer, but I love having everything we are working on in there. It is just so handy.
1. I think the best way to re-assign a lesson would be to bring up the resource in the Bookfinder and schedule it again, but assign only that lesson you want to do over. Where it says “Use Chapters” or “Use Lessons,” change the number to just the lesson(s) you want to use.
2. Usually, I just put Mavis Beacon in as a complete resource with no divisions and mark it as Worked On each day the student works on it. When we hit a stopping point either during the year or at the end of the year or at the end of the software, I click Finished.
