I picked this up the other day at my local Christian bookstore and been devouring it ever since. I can feel God moving in my heart as I read it. I wanted to share, since collection week is only a few weeks away, so I thought it might encourage some!

Thank you for that! I always seem to miss is because of the timing! I have been to the website and now I want to make some boxes to send. It is exciting that we can track them online and see where they go! Thank you again!
I have a beautiful story about those boxes. A few years ago, a homeschooled teen in our area was watching a news feature of Operation Christmas Child. They were showing excited children opening their boxes from that year. As this young man was watching with his family he suddenly said, with tears in his eyes, “Mom! That boy is opening my box!! That’s the box I sent!” He recognized it by the contents and a special item he had placed in it. He was able to watch as the little boy opened the box of treasures he had sent. I still get chills remembering his mother telling us about that day.
