Oh my! My son had a ball python for awhile and I was so happy when he decided to trade him (for a paintball gun and helmet, lol:)

Wow!  You win the award.  I might be persuaded to bring one in the house – of course I’m fairly safe saying this since I have at least one daughter who would NEVER find this appealing in any way.  I don’t think I could do the slithering freely across the table, however, if for no other reason than our cats would immediately be interested, and it would go downhill from there.Tongue out

Freely slithering CAN mean snake gets loose in house.  We rarely let ours down much because they are so fast and get away from us.  However, from experience Wink I can tell you exactly where to look for a missing snake and how to get it to “break cover”.  Snakes like to hide in small spaces near heat vents.  They seem to especially like puzzle boxes.  (Don’t get this myself.)  If you lose a snake and want to get it to show up, put out a shallow dish of water and shine a heat light on it.  Snake will appear sooner or later.  If all else fails, go through all the puzzle boxes.  Laughing
