Does anyone have favorite resources for an Olympics study?  Nonfiction and fiction books,  websites,  movies,  etc.?  So far I thought of Eric Liddell and Chariots of Fire.

I read the adult version of both books and they were awesome. I would imagine these versions (depending on age/maturity) are just as good 🙂

The Boys in the Boat (Young Readers Adaptation): The True Story of an American Team’s Epic Journey to Win Gold at the 1936 Olympics

Unbroken (The Young Adult Adaptation): An Olympian’s Journey from Airman to Castaway to Captive

Actually I should mention that Unbroken only tells about the Olympics in the early part of the book. The bulk of the book is more about Louis Zamperini’s captivity.

    Thanks!  Our library has both.
