Older Children vs Younger Children

  • IN some of the curriculum guides or books, there are books suggested by grade levels, but there are also some suggested by older or younger children. What exactly is OLDER or YOUNGER? Is there a specific age for these 2 categories, or do we just kinda have to pick which our child falls into?

    I think you are right; you just need to sort of pick it. It could mean different things, too. If it’s an elementary curriculum I think younger K-3 and older 4-6 (4 could go either way). Bump it up from there where younger is 4-6 and older is 7-8, etc…
