Someone just posted about these free downloadable animal books on the AO Forum – I’ve only glanced over them briefly, but they look like a great resource – similar style to the Burgess books and Among the ___ People. I was excited because one of them is about African animals and I have been looking for a good book about African animals to use in place of the Burgess Animal book since we are moving to Africa in January and I wanted to focus more on that than on North American animals for this school year. Enjoy!
I just wanted to thank you for sharing this free resource on this forum. I downloaded them all into my ibooks and we have begun reading the African Animal stories to go along with Module 1. I appreciate the short length of each chapter and both my 7 and 4 year old were interested in the stories and are learning a lot about African animals and their habitat in a non-dry way. ; ) thanks!
Can anyone tell me how I download these onto my Kindle? How does that work if it’s from a website? I have a Kindle fire, but I am planning on getting two Kindle readers (the least expensive ones that don’t have internet) for two of my children. I’d love for them to have these on there! Thanks! ~Lisa
