So, I was sneaking a piece of chocolate (actually a home-made microwave s’more) in my bedroom while thumbing through the Laying Down the Rails book, and wouldn’t you know that a piece of melted chocolate landed on the book…right on the habit of orderliness. Embarassed

hah!  That’s funny, Sue!  Laughing  I guess it’s my punishment for sneaking food in the first place!  Christie – glad to know I’m not alone.

I figure that Charlotte would understand if she’d ever been able to taste a s’more…

Well, that is how we know authentic homeschool papers around here. You can read them like a menu.

Ha, ha, Sarah. Is that something like, “What kind of housekeeper am I? Why, you can eat off my kitchen floor! Yep, there’s a blob of mashed potatoes over there, and Cheerios under the table, and I think that’s some kind of sauce there….maybe marinara.”

ROFLOL, Sue. Guess I’d better get off here and go clean up the kitchen. 😉

Does the habit of orderliness include cleanliness? Where does the habit of laying down the snacks fit in?

G-d never said “Cleanliness is next to G-dliness”  some man said it.. Probably had a wife with a messy kitchen!      : )   Tehe he

       G-d just said, ” He is a G-d of order.”  🙂

It’s a good thing he is orderly because I must have missed the book or the pages were smudged when it came to cleaning my kitchen. UGH!!!

It is ashame my kitchen is the first thing people see when they walk in the door.   Next house it will be in the back of the house! With a book shelf full of smudge recipes!

                    Mmmmmmm Smore’s  I would hide tooooo! 🙂

It’s perfect! Orderliness is “a place for everything, and everything in its place.” What better place for chocolate than in the bedroom?!

Besides – chocolate is made from cocoa beans…. and beans are vegetables (ok, I know…legumes…. don’t get technical on me…) – so you were just eating extra vegetables!

Oh Suzukimom, I wish that were true!

This is why I can’t keep the stuff in the house – normally I wouldn’t have all the makings for s’mores, but we had a little bbq/firepit over the weekend and so we splurged.  Now the leftover ingredients are just staring at me from the cupboard, and it would be wasteful to throw them away!  Tongue out
