A friend of mine in our local homeschool group was just asking if anyone knows of a good program to teach children basic MS Office skills. This made me wonder, is there anything out there especially for children? Did you use such a program? My children are fairly young (6,7) so I ahven’t thought of this yet. My children know very well how to use apps and browse the internet without me even teaching them those skills. Honestly I thought my children will probably learn “office” skills more by immersion then through a program. So, do you use a program and did you find it necessary to use one?

We did not use a program, they learned through trial and error and through watching me. They did a typing course, but apart from that they learned photo programs, office, excell and those things just by doing them. I am not sure you need a program, and mine were not doing those things at that age because back then we did not have a computer – yes I am ancient lol. Anyway, good luck, see what others say…Doug always has great advice on these topics. Linda
My dd17 will be going through Microsoft’s material this coming year.
