I don’t play.  I had a very few lessons as small child.  We have a piano.  i searched the previous posts…but no one ever mentioned this.  Here’s what I found http://lowepianostudio.blogspot.com/2009/08/review-noona-comprehensive-piano.html. Any opinions?  Need help w/ this.

    2 more things

here’s a diff review–bit more detailed for any piano people or others like me who are interested

    http://www.homeschoolreviews.com/reviews/curriculum/reviews.aspx?id=220

and i did notice the example page on the first site contained halloween graphics –i would just skip that one–cover it or some such…that should be ok right–there shouldn’t be a ton of that?

    thanks

I haven’t seen this piano method before, but I did notice (and gasp at) the illustration on the sample page.  You’re probably right, though, there might not be much of that sort of thing.  I went to the website that sells the piano course (linked from the blog), and it provides a page-by-page listing of contents with titles for each of their books.  The one from the sample page is entitled “Haunted House,” so I think you could get an idea of what illustrations there might be by scanning the titles.

I would probably cover up the offensive picture, but my kids (especially my son) would insist on knowing what I had blocked out, so it could provide a teachable moment–and then I’d cover it up!
